Polaris Office: Edit&View, PDF 9.8.8

Squeezing the Spreadsheet
Polaris Office tries its best to replicate the standard office suite on your Android device. Although it certainly works on small screens (i.e. phones), I'm sure nobody expects to keep the same level of productivity as they would on a standard monitor. At best, the mobile Polaris Office app should be run on a tablet.
But let's take a look at what Polaris can do. You get a full office suite, featuring a word processor, a spreadsheet editor, a presentation/slides editor, and even a simple text editor, which also doubles as a PDF reader. Going through each one, I found the interface to be reasonably accessible, while the functions to be unified across the entire suite. What's great is that you will be able to recognize and use the most common tools for each category of sub-app:
-
SHEET features a full array of operator functions, conditional formatting, tabs, graphs and whatever you might require for a good looking and functional spreadsheet.
-
The WORD and TEXT work pretty much the same, except TEXT is much lighter on what it can do.
- SLIDE seems to offer enough for elegance and diversity of themes, colors, and fonts.
What's more important, the Polaris app is capable of reading and editing popular document formats like the ones of MS Office and Libre/Open Office suites. At the same time, Polaris doubles as a document file browser. You can copy/move or delete any document that you can access on your device.
What's more, Polaris supports online document collaborations, a feature which is quickly becoming a necessary part of any office suite.

Final Thoughts
Everybody thought at some point how great it would be if he/she could edit documents and spreadsheets on the go from their tablet. But the truth is that we've already some examples of how this will never work out while mobile devices remain at large a different category from computers, Polaris being one of them. The smallish screens and the lack of a keyboard and mouse is as high an impediment for document editing as it would be for playing competitive StarCraft. Polaris does feature the necessary tools for proper productivity, but you should consider the hardware limitations.
